ABOUT OSCOHTECH

Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese-Ijebu, was established on the 28th of September, 1976 during the Military Administration of Colonel Saidu Balogun.
At inception, the institution was called, Ogun State School of Health, and it was set up to provide courses of instructions leading to Award of Diplomas Certificate and other distinction in Medical and Health Sciences, Health technology and Social Management Science as well as provide professional training and re-training in courses in medical and health science and all related subjects.

In 2004, the former Governor of the state, His Excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel signed a bill to law that upgraded the school to a College (Ogun State College of Health Technology). The institution is located at Ijebu-Ilese, in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of the State.

The Vision of the College is to achieve excellence in health manpower training and secure credibility in all aspect of our endeavors and thus, become the best college of health science and technology with qualified staff, offering diverse programmes with full accreditation and graduating students armed with knowledge, skill and the right attitude to face the challenges of health care delivery system, thus, making their horizon limitless.

The Mission Statement of the Institution is to create, reserve and communicate knowledge in health science Technology , behavioural and management sciences and scholarship in other fields of human endeavour and thereby contributes to the complete enhancement of health and well-being of Ogun State in particular and Nigeria in general.
